Guided by experience, knowledge and faith, our mission is to provide truly SUPERIOR physical therapy care to our patients suffering with musculoskeletal dysfunction.
Superior Spine and Sports Physical Therapy or, S3PT for short, was founded in June 2023 by Trent Landry and Kourtney Ellis with a goal of providing high quality care with a small-town feel.
Meet the staff
Kourtney Kober Ellis PT, DPT
Kourtney AKA "The Boss" is from Lake Charles, LA. She attended SLCHS then went on to play collegiate softball at McNeese State University where she graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman's University in Houston. Kourtney is a proud wife to husband Jacob, and mom of two beautiful children, Evynn and Easton. They enjoy country living in Longville, LA.
Kennedy Guidry
Kennedy is from Lake Charles, LA. She attended SLCHS then became a McNeese State University Cheerleader later being appointed Captain her Senior Year. She graduated with a degree in General Studies with a concentration in Behavioral Science. She is the proud owner of Lucy James Clothing, LLC, an online clothing boutique for women. When not running the administration side of S3PT, she and her husband Dustin enjoy bowling.
Jared Trent Landry PT, DPT
Trent and his cajun accent are native of Iowa, LA. He attended Iowa High School where he played baseball, football, and rodeo. Trent received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Exercise Science and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. Trent and his wife, Haley, live in Holmwood, LA where they spend most of their time chasing after their two boys, Rafe and River.
